Years of conditioning, I suppose. I still get irked when it shows the slightest upward movement, even if it's moving from below goal weight. Maybe you are a size 8 - you say your clothes are loose...and I am living proof that you can weigh more than you think you should and be a pretty small size. Exercise changes the body shape immensely. So go try on some 8's for shiggles.<br /><br />Also, at 5'7" - this might be your body's happy weight.
